BAND BIOGRAPHY

   Sour Bounty met in 2014 in Dalian, China, where they have since performed in numerous venues and developed their own unique acoustic style, which they communicate through lively performances. Currently recording their first album, they are ready to take their music to other cities in China.

Sour Bounty are an acoustic duo that joins original songwriting with tight-knit instrumentalism.  Elena Marco delivers moving and personal lyrics with a voice capable of many styles, ranging from soft and sweet to powerful and soulful.  Combined with her solid guitar accompaniment, the result is a wide range of songs and melodies, each its own world with its own colors and subtleties, and each with a story to tell.  Enjoy hearing her sing in English, Chinese, and of course, Spanish! Vincent Searfoss, on the other hand, brings to the mix his mastery of the banjo —an instrument mostly associated with bluegrass music, but that becomes so much more in his hands—, and his deep insight on what makes music capable of touching peoples’ souls. Watch his fingers run up and down the frets as the notes touch you, amuse you, surprise you, in short, engage you in a very rich musical experience.

Elena Marco comes from Mallorca, Spain, although she has spent more than half of her life in Barcelona, where she made music with different bands and projects since the age of 18 until she left for China in 2013.

Vincent Searfoss, is from the United States and was raised in Pennsylvania.  He started playing music thirteen years ago and has been in China since 2014.
